The birth of a Princess

The birth of a Princess

For a guy that hunts dangerous game for a living, Friday proved to be one of the most stressful afternoons of my life.

Leaving all the medical talk aside – I was terrified. They were splitting my wife essentially in half to remove the child that had been growing inside her tummy for 9 months.

After gaining many more grey hairs, the first of many I am sure when I look at this little princess, a healthy, happy and very beautiful little girl was handed to me by the doctor.

For those that know me I have had to wait a long time to find happiness and an even longer time to have a child of my own.

Maryke and I are home with little Rachel and enjoy every second of our time together.
