How to Get to Namibia

Travel to and in Namibia

Most visitors to Namibia arrive by air from Europe (Frankfurt) or South Africa (Johannesburg). American visitors may fly directly to Johannesburg and then take a short flight north to Windhoek, or break the journey up by going to Frankfurt and then flying nonstop on Air Namibia directly into Windhoek.

South African Airways offers flights from Windhoek to Botswana, Mozambique, Zimbabwe, South Africa and other countries in southern Africa.

Our plains-game hunting lies within easy drive of Windhoek’s Hosea Kutako International Airport. Cape buffalo, leopard, lion and Cape buffalo are in the Caprivi Strip, in the far north of the country, and are best reached by air via commercial carrier or private charter.

Please contact the Jofie Lamprecht Safaris office for more information on travel to and in Namibia. Safari prices include airport pickup and return.
